Recent Artwork—Gallery Two
Pipe Dreams I was out on a walk along the beach one summer day when I discovered a pile of large iron pipes used to pump sand in from the sandbar just off shore. The pipes were surrounded by a bright orange construction fence. The perforated plastic mesh made a very tempting subject for my camera. The combination of the patterned holes in the fence and the rusty texture of the pipes made for an interesting mix, I thought. Fortunately, I had my camera with me that day! The image was then modified using Adobe Photoshop to create what you see here. |
